What do I get with Constellation?
A real multi-page site, up to 6 pages, with its own database, your own admin area and an easy editor for your content. Local SEO, Search Console and analytics are set up from day one, and every lead is saved in your admin, not only in your inbox. It carries over everything in Star: hosting, SSL, daily backups and a contact form that emails you. It is $19/mo, or $16/mo if you pay a year up front, with a $125 setup (down from $250). There is no minimum term. The site and its data are yours to keep.
What do I get with Star?
A fast one-page site that looks sharp on every phone, for a single artist or band. Hosting, SSL and daily backups are handled for you. The contact form emails every enquiry to up to 2 inboxes. Star is $9/mo, billed yearly at $108, with a $50 setup (down from $250).
Does Star have an admin area?
No. Star is a simple site with no admin area and no saved leads. Enquiries go straight to your email, up to 2 inboxes. Need more people to see them? Extra inboxes are $10 once per inbox. Want to edit the site yourself and keep every lead in one place? That starts with Constellation.
What does Galaxy add?
Everything in Constellation, plus as many pages as your business needs, a monthly traffic and SEO report in plain English, 30 minutes of edits every month done for you, and one integration or automation included, such as booking, a store, a newsletter or a custom workflow. Support is faster and more hands-on, and you can export your data any time. Galaxy is $29/mo, or $24/mo if you pay a year up front, with a $250 setup (down from $500).
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
Star is billed a year up front ($108), or on a one-year agreement. Constellation has no minimum term, so you can cancel any time. Galaxy has a 6-month minimum. If you cancel before a minimum term is up, the remaining months of that term are still due.
Can I move up or down a package?
Yes. You can move up whenever you are ready, and moving up from Star to Constellation ends the Star one-year commitment. You can move down once any minimum term is over. Moving down to Star means going back to its yearly billing and to a site with no admin area, so plan for that before you switch.
Who owns the site, the content and the domain?
You do. The website, and the content and data in it, belong to you, not us. Your domain is passed through at cost, so you pay what it costs and nothing more. There is no lock-in. The only thing that stays ours is our own reusable code and tools.
What happens if I cancel?
After your minimum term, tell us in writing (email is fine) and we stop billing at the end of the period you have already paid for. Your site keeps running until then. Prepaid time you have already used is not refunded. We give you an export of your data and help you move the site, or hand over what is needed to host it elsewhere.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the package and on how quickly the words and photos come together. Most sites go live in 1 to 3 weeks once your content is in. We agree the plan with you in writing before any work starts, so you know what to expect.
How do edits work?
On Star there is no admin area, so changes go through us. Tell us what you need, and anything beyond what your package includes is quoted before we do it. On Constellation you make your own changes in the admin with an easy editor. Galaxy adds 30 minutes of edits every month, done for you, and more done-for-you time is +$15/mo per 30 min on top.
What about hosting, SSL and backups?
All handled, on every package. We host your site on managed infrastructure, keep it on SSL and take daily backups. We work hard to keep it fast and online, but at these prices we do not promise 100% uptime. When something breaks we fix it as quickly as we can, and faster for higher packages.
Can you set up email on my own domain?
Yes. Google Workspace setup is $99 once: email on your own domain, a shared calendar and drive, set up and connected. Google bills the licence, and any Workspace licences we handle for you are passed through at cost.
Will I rank on Google, and how soon?
Nobody can honestly promise a ranking, and we do not. What we do is build the site the way search engines like: fast, clean and with the right structured data. Constellation and Galaxy come with local SEO, Search Console and analytics set up, and a Star site can add the SEO and analytics pack for +$5/mo. A new site usually takes weeks to months to settle into search results.
How do billing and payment work?
A one-time setup fee, then a flat monthly price. Pay month to month, or pay a year up front for the lower rate shown on each package. Star is always billed yearly. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that may apply. We confirm the package in writing before any work starts, and if a price ever changes we tell you at least 30 days ahead.
What if I need more pages or more storage?
Extra pages are $50 once per page, so a Constellation site can grow past 6 pages without moving up a package. Galaxy has as many pages as you need. Each package includes media storage (5 GB on Star, 25 GB on Constellation, 50 GB on Galaxy), and extra storage is +$3/mo per 25 GB.
Can my site take bookings, sell products or send a newsletter?
Yes. Bookings, a store or payments are from $150, and provider fees are separate. Newsletter and email marketing is +$10/mo, sent from your own verified domain. Galaxy includes one integration or automation in the price.
